Our qualified staff provides knowledge, devotion and professionalism to all our clientele.
The hospital is a client centered practice using the concept of teamwork. The workload of the hospital is carried out by interdisciplinary teams working in concert with the doctors to focus on quality patient care and the best possible client service. There are routine full staff meetings. During which, emphasis is placed on safety issues, team supervisor recomendations, and medical educational programs.
Our community is fortunate to have our talented veterinarians who are featured in the "Our Veterinarians" section on this website. Both Dr. Andrea Watson and Dr. Galligan are compassionate professionals who are highly respected by the hospital staff, and our clients.
Our spacious, modern 7,000 sq. ft. facility includes 6 exam rooms, 2 surgery suites, a critical care suite, separate dog and cat boarding areas, and much more. The hospital is a noted referral center throughout eastern North Carolina for internal medicine cases, and ultrasound imaging including echocardiograms. Compassionate pain management, junior wellness exams, spays & neuters, senior wellness exams, and advanced dental procedures are routine and expected medical care procedures. Digital radiography along with a separate dental digital radiographic system puts Roanoke Animal Hospital's diagnostic interpretation ability on the cutting edge. Touring our well equipped hospital by visitors and clients alike always brings responses of how impressive our facility is. We are justifiably proud of our hospital.
Our relationship with the community goes beyond medicine. Our practice philosophy nurtures and respects the veterinarian/client/patient relationship. Our strength is that we genuinely care about those we serve. Our greatest compliment is for our clients to refer us to their family and friends. Our satisfaction and delight is to see pets leave us well and healthy.
