Dr. Renee Brantley is a native of Roanoke Rapids.   She graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999.  Roanoke Animal Hospital has been sentimental to her since she was young, as it was her first introduction to the veterinary field.  Dr. Brantley has a special interest in caring for senior pets.  She enjoys spending time with her sons, Ricky Wayne and Brewer.   She has two Labrador Retrievers, Mercy and Earl, and a cat, Simba.    She also has a rabbit and a flock of chickens.
