Linda Wray

Linda Wray joined the Roanoke Animal Hospital team as the Hospital Manager in October 2017. Though new to the veterinary medicine field, she is no stranger to being around animals as she grew up around several while living in Pennsylvania, as well as having a small farm where she resides near the NC/VA border. Married for over 2 decades with (2) adult children. Linda Wray holds a diverse background in Business Management/Human Resources as she has worked in the medical field, education and most recently a federal military installation.

Heather Delbridge

Heather has been with Roanoke Animal Hospital since 1997 and currently holds the position as the Inventory Manager. She is a graduate of Halifax Community College with an Associate's Degree in Applied Science. Heather also received certification as a veterinary technical assistant. In her own words, “I love my career. It’s never the same. My job has many varieties in what occurs, from calm-cuddly pets to 911 surgeries and situations. I really love to come to work each day.” Heather is affectionately known as “Sarge” because when a task needs to be addressed or an emergency arises with a patient, Heather is a natural leader. Heather has a daughter named Meagan and 3 fur babies – Rambo, Daisey and Turbo.

Andy

Andy Carter

Andy was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. A graduate from the University of Kentucky, Andy received a B.S. in Animal Science in May of 2016. After graduating, he worked in an animal clinic for a year a found the experience both rewarding and enjoyable. Andy joined the Roanoke Animal Hospital in August 2017 and works as a Kennel Assistant and states he “loves every minute of it”. While he is passionate about all animals, his main interest lies with reptiles and amphibians. He has plans to go back to school to pursue a Masters in Zoology with a focus in herpetology. In his free time, Andy enjoys tennis, woodworking and tinkering/riding his motorcycle. Above all, his family and friends is the most important thing to him. He lives with his significant other, 3 reptiles; Apep, Margaret and Jeff and a cat named Dribbles.

Lauren

Lauren Sutherland

Lauren has resided in Roanoke Rapids for most of her life, with a short time living in Carolina Beach, NC. Lauren has been with Roanoke Animal Hospital since July 2016 where she has worked as a Kennel Assistant and currently a Client Service Specialist. Lauren attended Halifax Community College where she studied as a Certified Nursing Assistant and currently studying Office Administration. Lauren enjoys coming to work everyday as each day is different; you never know what will come through the door. Lauren has four boys whom keep her very busy outside of work – Dylan, Austin, Mason and Michael and one fur child, a cat named Charlie.

Courtney

Courtney Brake

Courtney joined the Roanoke Animal Hospital team as the groomer, February 2018. With over two years experience in grooming and three years experience as a Kennel Assistant as well as being Certified in Pet First Aid, your pet will be in good hands and receive the best care possible. Specializing in “stress free” grooming, she is well trained in all breed grooming, standard and custom request – She is even trained in cat grooming! Courtney feels that the most rewarding thing about grooming is the ability to do a complete makeover and is excited to transform the pets in the Roanoke Valley.

Amber

Amber McClung

Amber McClung joined Roanoke Animal Hospital in January of 2018 as an Assistant. Amber comes with an abundance of skills and education from previously being a dog handler, animal caretaker, and kennel technician. She is also currently going to college for her Associate’s Degree as a Veterinary Technician. In her spare time Amber enjoys photography, hiking, and spending time with her family. Amber shares her home with her dog Ollie, two cats Opie and Salem, and two ferrets Omen and Krampus.
